The Aviator Edition is designed specifically for piloting RC planes. 
The RCV922 headset's unique features are impressive; the largest FOV (field of view)

of any commercially available headset, the only headset with a built in receiver,

the only headset designed and manufactured specifically for FPV (First Person View)

RC use and now, the only VGA video glasses with adjustable IPD (interpupilary distance).

Our CMOS and CCD cameras (sold separately) come pre-terminated to plug into

the Aviator TX.  The TX supplies power to the camera (no need for complicated wiring).

The RCV922 Aviator Edition builds on the intelligent, simple to use RCV922 system

with addition of the following:

100mW Aviator TX
Developed and optimized by the RF experts at Fatshark,
the 100mW TX included in the Aviator Edition is a lightweight airplane specific

TX Robust connectors are designed to withstand impacts and repairs can be made easily

by the hobbyist. The 100mW TX will allow you to achieve up to 1200m (line of sight,

no sources of interference present) so is perfectly suited for park flyers.

  Range and reduced dropouts can be achieved by using our diversity receiver (or higher power TX).

Headset Low Power Indicator.
  A low power indicator is added to the RCV922 headset
that will warn you when your headset battery is getting low giving you time to return to base safely.
No need to worry about your video gear being rudely shut down in the middle of the flight.
